Standings & points

How points work, how the standings tables are shown, and how we break ties. Promotion and relegation are titles only — they don't change your division next season.

Standings

Phase 1

One table for everyone

Rank, team name, matches played, wins, losses, points, and tiebreaker stats (e.g. soul differential). One big table.

Phase 2

Separate table per division

Division A, B, C each have their own standings. Same columns — rank, team, MP, W, L, points, tiebreakers.

Standings update after each match is approved by staff.

Tiebreakers

When two or more teams have the same points, we use this order to rank them. You don't need to memorise it — the platform shows the order. The main idea: we look at head-to-head first, then strength of schedule, then in-game performance.

When teams have the same points

  1. 1Head-to-head (if you played each other)
  2. 2Opponent win percentage (strength of schedule)
  3. 3Match win percentage
  4. 4Soul differential (souls for minus souls against)
  5. 5Total souls earned
  6. 6If still tied and it matters: playoff or tiebreak match

Promotion and relegation (titles only)

Titles only — no division move

We award promoted and relegated labels based on where you finished (e.g. top/bottom of your division). These are titles only. They don't move you to another division next season. Next season everyone goes back into Phase 1 and earns their division again. The labels are for prestige and season badges.
